Get to know Brian Mathias.

Brian was born and raised in beautiful Santa Cruz County. He represents employees in a wide variety of labor law matters, including disability (health) discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, whistleblower retaliation, and unemployment benefits appeals. Brian also represents employees in class actions for unpaid wages, overtime, and denied rest and meal breaks (called "wage and hour law")

In May, 2022, Brian and his co-counsel won what is believed to be the largest jury verdict in Santa Cruz County and Central Coast history.

In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and reading. Brian is a former assistant professor of Constitutional Law at the Monterey College of Law in Seaside, California.
